The assignment of ion currents detected in the mass spectrum of a molecular beam

Abstract

A technique for assigning ion currents in the mass spectra of molecular beams is described with reference to the particular case of a molecular beam generated from a Knudsen effusion oven containing InP. Areas where the technique would find application are suggested.
