Standing-Spin-Wave Modulation of the Reflected Microwave Power in YIG

Abstract
Low‐frequency oscillations which occur above the threshold for spin‐wave instability are examined in detail. The frequency of these coherent oscillations is found to vary with the applied dc magnetic field. A simple theory based on the assumption of standing spin waves is given and it is shown that this assumption can explain well the experimental observations.Keywords
