Abstract
In view of the meager amount of information available concerning commercially available dentifrices, a study was conducted to evaluate 43 dentifrices with regard to abrasion to enamel and dentin and enamel polishing ability. The results indicated a wide range of abrasiveness and polishing ability. Keywords
