Of the 13 cases evaluated, there were 2 cases of traumatic thrombosis and 11 pseudoaneurysms, 3 of which were associated with arteriovenous fistulae. A brief discussion of the significant pathologic and clinical findings is presented. The characteristic arteriographic finding in pseudoaneurysm is prolonged visualization of the extraluminal sac, the size of which may be considerably less than that of the surrounding hematoma. The indications for the use of arteriography in cases of peripheral vascular trauma are stated.
