Abstract
Two types of inducibility of the cytochrome P-450-system in the endoplasmic reticulum of liver cells are well known: cytochrome P-448 induced by polycyclic hydrocarbons and cytochrome P-450 induced by numerous drugs. The increase of the latter is connected with proliferation of endoplasmic membranes and consequently an enlargement of the liver. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
