Abstract
It is shown that the Rouse model can qualitatively accout for the time evolution of the transverse magnetization of protons bound to cis‐1, 4‐polybutadiene chains, in the molten state. The extension of the Rouse model from dilute chain solutions to molten polymers is based on the hypothesis of a weak local viscosity. Keywords
