Abstract
There have been an increasing number of reports of isolates of non—β-lactamase-producing Neisseria meningitidis for which the minimal inhibitory concentrations of penicillin were ≥0.25 mg per liter.1 These isolates of penicillin-insensitive N. meningitidis, which so far have been reported only from Spain, the United Kingdom, and South Africa, belonged to serogroup B or C.2 3 4 5Keywords
