Abstract
The proton and fluorine magnetic resonance spectra of fluorobenzene at several concentrations in TMS have been obtained and the compound analysed as an ABB′CC′X system. This report constitutes the first complete compilation of precise values for all of the H-H couplings and the H-F couplings in fluorobenzene. The effect of concentration on the chemical shifts and coupling constants is discussed. Also the fluorobenzene parameters are included in correlations previously made with the other monohalobenzenes. Keywords
