Abstract
The difference in osmotic activity between aq. humor and blood plasma of dogs and rabbits was detd. by means of the thermoelectric method as modified by Baldes. The aq. humor was found normally hyperosmotic to the plasma. The re-inj. of aq. humor containing HgCl2 into the anterior chamber of the eye posterior to the iris abolished the difference in osmotic activity between aq. humor and plasma. Active secretory processes are apparently involved in the formation of aq. humor. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
