Pressure-Enhanced Superconductivity inX Compounds

Abstract
The superconducting transition temperature of the compounds Si, Ga, and Ge is found to increase linearly with the application of hydrostatic pressure. This behavior is compared with predictions based upon measurements of the elastic moduli.
