Abstract
A theoretical construct of aphasia leading to ongoing clinical procedures and research into disordered language processes is presented. The usual dichotomy of sensory input to motor output fails to express the essential integrative process. A model for the sequence the authors are using is demonstrated, with the aphasias shown as disruptions in the symbolic language process. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
