Abstract
By acidification and ether-extraction of urine from pregnant women 8000 to 40,000 mouse units of oestrin were obtained per litre. These extracts were purified with a loss of 28-40% of the activity. The mouse unit of the purified preparations is about 0.0006 mgm. A crystalline material was obtained from the above preparations which had a potency of about 5 times that of the original. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
