E.B.C. ANALYSIS COMMITTEE NOTES ON THE CALIBRATION OF SPECTROPHOTOMETERS

Abstract

Spectrophotometers are now widely used in brewing analysis. The Committee wishes to emphasize the importance of routine checks on the instrument in order to sustain the accuracy of analyses. In particular it recommends that an acid solution of potassium dichromate be employed as a reference solution.
