Abstract
In rats the approx. LD50 in mg./kg. of Santobrite was 100; of pentachloro-phenol, between 125 and 200; of pentabromophenol, 200; of the Cu salt of pentachlorophenol 600; of 2,4,6-tribromophenol, less than 2000; and of 2,4,6-triiodophenol less than 2500. Relatively no cumulative toxicity was produced by 5 consecutive daily doses of the first 3 compounds, but moderate cumulative effects were produced by the last 3 compounds under the same conditions. Keywords
