Abstract
A search for dibaryon resonant states was carried out in collisions at 5.0 BeV/c in the 80-in. Brookhaven bubble chamber. A total of ∼1400 events was measured and analyzed. We were not able to detect any effect which could be construed as being due to a dibaryon resonance. We observed the and the resonance. We also observe the effect of the resonance in its decay mode. Our data are consistent with the one-pion-exchange model.
