Abstract
We study supersymmetric quantum mechanics with particular emphasis on factorization as a key to understanding the recently discovered isospectral γ ray cascades seen in neighboring superdeformed nuclei. Explicit realization of the general algebraic approach leads to state doubling in the odd-A nucleus. Keywords
