The Radiology of Basilar Thrombosis

Abstract

This discussion of the radiology of basilar artery thrombosis included a brief description of the neurologic symptomatology in the disease, relating it to anatomic features of the vertebral-basilar system. Indications for and the technique of angiography, together with its interpretation in basilar thrombosis are also discussed. Special attention has been paid to pitfalls in its angiographic diagnosis.
