Pathways to Tomorrow: A Conversation About Community-Based Programming

Abstract

Community-based programming is a process that enables organizations and groups to collaboratively address critical societal issues. The authors, lifelong community organizers and educators, examine the contributions of community service and extension as precursors to community-based programming. They enumerate the elements of communitybased programming and its application in the ACCLAIM project.
