Abstract
The photoionization cross section of the 2p and 2s subshells of the 3P ground state of neutral carbon has been calculated including correlation effects. Resonance due to the 1s22s2p2np autoionizing configurations and two-electron resonances from the 1s22s23s3p and 1s22s23p3d configurations were calculated. Detailed agreement is obtained with the experimental data of Esteva, Mehlman-Balloffet, and Romand (1972).Keywords
