Visual stimulation and mating behavior in male rats.

Abstract
The mating performance of blinded and intact rats was equal under widely different conditions of illumination in the mating cages. Blind Ss were equally as active when copulating in either brightness or semidarkness. Visual stimulation is of minor importance in maintaining male rats' normal level of sexual arousal.
