Vector-Meson-Dominance Predictions on Inelastic Electron-Proton Scattering

Abstract
We present predictions of the (recently proposed) vector-meson-dominance model for inelastic electronproton scattering in a manner that can be compared directly with forthcoming experimental data. For large scattering angles (θ=18°34°), a spectacular variation is predicted in d2σdΩdE as a function of the missing mass or q2, in sharp contrast with the published 6° data, which exhibit a very weak q2 dependence. We also give our νW2 and (q2ν)W1 as functions of νq2.
