Abstract
De-scribes and discusses a small flora of 5 distinct types, all referred to the primitive order Psilophytales: BUCHERIA (p.245), erected for B. ovata* (p.245) ; Psilophyton wyomingense* (p.242), (?) Psilophyton sp.*, (?)Broggeria strobiliformis* (p.249), and Hostimella sp.* Specimens were from a channel deposit in associa-tion with many ostracoderm and arthrodire plates. Both the flora and fauna indicate Lr. Devonian age. This is the first Lr. Devonian flora recorded from western N. Amer. Comparisons are made with related forms from Europe and eastern Canada.
