Abstract
Aeration of insects to recover pheromones involves the use of large cold-traps and the consequent trapping of large amounts of water. Replacement of the cold-trap with an absorption column would have several advantages. This possibility was explored with some model organic compounds. The procedure seems feasible for pheromones of sufficient volatility and stability. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
