Abstract
The province of Turkana in Kenya Colony comprises a tract of country west of Lake Rudolf bounded on the north by the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan and on the west by Uganda. It covers an area of about 27,000 square miles, and until recently the geology was entirely unknown. During his term of office as Provincial Commissioner, Mr. Arthur M. Champion surveyed the country and made a large collection of specimens of rocks and careful observations on the geology, particularly the physical geology, of the region. Keywords
