Abstract
The amts. of atropine that inhibit the responses to acetylcholine stimulation are directly proportional to the threshold to acetylcholine of the effectors used (salivary gland and superior rectus muscle of the eye). The effective amts. of curare are inversely proportional to this factor. It is assumed that the differences between mus-carinic and nicotinic effects of the acetylcholine are qualitative. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
