Abstract
The radioiodide space has been measured in groups of subjects, including infants, children and adults. Regression analyses have been performed to relate the volume of the iodide space, at different times after injection of the test dose of radioiodine, with the weight of the patient. The authors' observations have been combined with results published by others to give a general empirical formula relating the above variables. The formula fits the results well over the whole range of weights from 2 to 200 kg.Keywords
