Abstract
Reproductive data for the following species of Blaberidae are reported: Eublaberus posticus (Erichson), E. distanti (Kirby), Blaberus discoidalis Serville, and Phortiocca phoraspoides (Walker)- E. posticus can withstand starvation for as long as 9 months and is capable of reproducing during starvation. The effects of mating and starvation on reproduction vary considerably in different species of false ovoviviparous Blaberidae.
