Abstract
A cytological investigation was made into the occurrence of estrogenic effects in female diabetic patients of menopausal age. A significant difference from a control group in the frequency of estrogenic smears has been found. This difference is attributed to the diabetic patients with obesity and/or hypertension. The signs of estrus are shown to be probably of adrenal origin. Keywords
