Abstract
This paper postulates analytic expressions for two‐ and three‐point probability functions of statistically homogeneous and isotropic two‐phase materials with differing phase geometries. Sums of exponentials are used to represent the probability functions, and a curve‐fitting procedure for fitting the exponentials to the data is indicated. A comparison of the constructed functions with the original experimental data is given for a specific case. Empirical constants of constructed probability functions which have been fitted to existing experimental data are also given for 10 available experimental materials. Keywords
