Abstract
Developmental behavioral genetics is the study of genetic and environmental influences on individual differences in behavioral development. The interdiscipline offers exciting possibilities for research in both child development and behavioral genetics. In this prelude to a special section on developmental behavioral genetics, the potentialities of the interdiscipline are discussed and an overview of the articles that follow is presented.Keywords
