Time optimal control of linear systems with delay†

Abstract

Necessary conditions, analogous to those of Pontryagin's maximum principle are developed for the problem of reducing the state, of linear systems with delay, to zero in minimum time. An example is presented that demonstrates the technique of finding the time optimal control.
