The Prophylactic Antiemetic Effect of Droperidol

Abstract
In a double-blind controlled study of 41 patients undergoing hysterectomy during ether anesthesia, 5 mg. of droperidol was found to provide safe and statistically significant antiemetic effect during the first 12 postoperative hours.
