Abstract
Heat capacity measurements below 4.2°K have been made on extremely pure palladium. The resulting values of electronic heat capacity and Debye temperature differ from previous work, it being found that joule and K. The effects of changes in the physical and chemical state of the specimen have been investigated with a view to understanding the discrepancies between the various determinations of the low-temperature atomic heat of palladium.
