The Failure of Histaminase to Protect Guinea-Pigs Against Histamine and Anaphlyactic Shock

Abstract

Summary: Pretreatment with histaminase fifteen minutes before injection of guinea pigs with histamine failed to protect them against fatal shock. Similarly, histaminase so given did not protect against anaphylactic shock.
