Abstract
The gene for UDP-β 1,4-galactosyltransferase (glycoprotein 4-β-galactosyltransferase, E.C. 2.4.1.38; Ggtb) was localized to the centromeric region of mouse Chromosome 4, between Mtv-14 and Mtv-17, using Southern blot analysis of an intersubspecies backcross.
