Abstract
A model for fcc metals is proposed by combining the ion-ion interaction from the axially symmetric model of Lehman et al (1962) with the electron-ion interaction from Krebs' model (1964). The computed frequencies of copper are in excellent agreement with experimental ones. Keywords
