Abstract
The alkaline hydrolysis of the following local anesthetic esters was studied benzocaine, butyl benzocaine, tetracaine, procaine, panthesine and o-hydroxyprocaine. The velocity constants are determined photometrically in H2O solution at 25.0, 35.0 and 45.0[degree]C. The influence of substituents on the activation energy and the frequency factor is discussed. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
