Abstract
The unsaponifiable ether-soluble fraction was fractionated with 70% and 50% alcohol. The activity was retained quantitatively in the solution. The hormone was quite stable to alkalis. Oestrin was extracted quantitatively from neutral and acid aqueous solutions by ether. Oestrin was extracted from an ethereal solution by aqueous KOH.This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
