A simplified oscillator suitable for auditory research and audiometry.

Abstract
The described instrument possesses marked stability: The low thermal drift of plus or minus 0.2% at 100 cps is maintained through low temp. coefficient elements in the resistance capacity network. The apparatus is calibrated in decibels and the frequency range is continuous from 15-65,000 cps. Since it is not of the beat-frequency type the constant adjustment to zero beat is obviated. The cost of construction and maintenance is low.
