Abstract
Ca salts (Ca gluconate or CaCl2. 1 or 2 g), injected intraven., produce clinical improvement in claudication and ulcers and relieve pain. Oscillometric records showing increased pulsation are shown. Tables showing increase in claudication time and % increase are reproduced. The method of clinical application is described. The mechanism of the action is discussed. Ca evidently acts as vasodilator on the basis of sympathetic inhibition.
