Abstract
Chest roentgenograms of 126 patients with bronchogenic adenocarcinoma who had undergone thoracic exploration during a 4-year period were reviewed and categorized according to a pattern classification for bronchogenic carcinoma. Seventy-five per cent of the patients had parenchymal lung masses and 18% had hilar involvement, with some overlap between the 2 major groups. This study substantiates the clinical impression that bronchogenic adenocarcinoma presents roentgenographically in most cases as a peripheral lung mass. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
