Scattering of Mesons by Light Nuclei

Abstract
An improved optical model is used to study the scattering of mesons by light nuclei, in particular. It is found that the differential cross section can be fit reasonably well if a nucleus is used which has a diffuse edge; the Gaussian shape seems to work well for .
