Abstract
The immunological relationship between a protein toxin and the components of the Boivin or `O' somatic antigen isolated from Vibrio cholerae has been studied. Evidence is given which suggests that the protein toxin is in fact the protein component of the Boivin antigen. Protein toxins isolated from serologically unrelated vibrios appear to share a common antigenic component.
