Abstract
This paper is a review of the various types of beta‐ray spectrographs and spectrometers. The principal theoretical results as to the resolving power and luminosity attainable under various conditions are briefly related. Finally the construction and performance data of a number of instruments described in the literature are collected, and compared by means of a graphical representation.Keywords
