Abstract
A study of three-quark—one-gluon configurations in the zero-strangeness, positive-parity sector is carried out. The quantum numbers of the ground-state levels in this system are identified. The mass spectrum is analyzed in both the bag-model and harmonic-oscillator dynamical frameworks. Mixing between the and sectors is determined, and implications of mixing are explored.
