Abstract
With the growing use of the telephone as an input device, human factors designers need more human performance data on how quickly and accurately users can learn and execute alternative data-entry input strategies, as well as indications of what strategies users prefer. This study assesses five different strategies for entering alphabetic codes from a telephone keypad. Keywords
