Tests of Time-Reversal Invariance in the ReactionsMg24+d⇄Mg25+p

Abstract
No evidence for a violation of time-reversal invariance has been found in a study of the inverse reactions Mg24+dMg25+p, using 10-MeV deuterons and 15-MeV protons. Relative differential cross sections for the two reactions agree to within an experimental standard deviation of 0.4%. This is tentatively interpreted as implying that the ratio of the T-odd to T-even reaction amplitudes is probably less than 0.4%.
