Abstract
Castration in [female] guinea pigs causes no appreciable change in the proliferative activity or in the structural characteristics of the thyroid gland. The structure of the thyroid gland of the guinea pig seems to show a tendency toward an increase in the amount of colloid and toward a flattening of the acinar epithelium with advancing age. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
