The Effectiveness of Dramamine in the Prevention of Airsickness

Abstract

Of 108 subjects given 100 mg. of Dramamine (beta-dimethylaminoethyl benzohydryl ether 8-chlorotheophylli-nate), 28.7% became airsick and vomited during a 1 hr. flight simulating turbulent air. In comparison 55.6% of 108 placebo treated controls were airsick.
