TENTORIAL BRANCHES OF THE INTERNAL CAROTID ARTERY

Abstract
Enlarged tentorial branches of the internal carotid artery may occur in a variety of conditions associated with increased vascularity of the tentorium. These branches may be narrow and their demonstration is more readily accomplished when selective internal carotid arteriography is performed. Four examples of different pathologic processes are described in which these tentorial branches were visualized.
